I am the Proud Welders Daughter!!!

I am a mother of 4… 2 boys, 2 girls and 3 grand-babies. They are my world.

My dad was a member of the Local 250 Pipe-fitters Union in Los Angeles, CA for over 25 years. He started making these caps for himself and then for the girls and guys on the job sites he went to (of course they were not as colorful as the hats I am making now!).

It was so funny to see my dad sewing. He did a great job and I followed in his footsteps, helping him with the growing demand for his hats.

Although my dad isn’t here anymore, I find it so very comforting to continue making these caps. I love making these caps, and take complete pride with each and everyone I create.  I have followed in my dad’s footsteps in hopes of making my children a better future, and also with the hopes that they will follow in their Gram-pa’s footsteps too.  You never know what can happen.
